steam speed!!

hi i seem to have a mismatch between my download speed and the actual speed that steam is downloading at.

1.5mg download at router but steam is only pulling 188 kb/s
any ideas???

188 kbytes/s = 1.5 Mbits/s

188KB/s. Or arguably 188kB/s.

You confuse the issue by getting it wrong. Neither is the "about" appropriate. "Exactly" is the only word, given that rounded figures are being used.

Just because the OP used the wrong capitalisation that doesn't excuse you.

1 Byte (B) = 8 bits (b)

As long as you meant Steam was reporting 188K Bytes/s.
