Any PCs &c - contact Computers for Africa a very worthy cause.

I am about to consign about 40 PCs and monitors to them - found sitting in the corner of a room at the school where I chair the GB.

No idea if its too late or not or if any of these will take specific DSL equipment but i came across this page when searching around which may help...
http://www.itforcharities.co.uk/pcs.htm

Computer aid near the top of that list sounds like it MAY be a worthwhile organisation to donate old bits.

For information (this is not meant as an advert for Oxfam) the following Oxfam shops sell Electricals, some other shops may accept them for passing on.

Sheffield, Fulwood Rd
Leeds, Headingley
Keswick
Ealing Music
Streatham High Rd

Some charity based furniture recyclers also take electricals .

There is also Freecycle , Freegle etc.

If the items are light and you are willing to pay postage PM me for the appropriate !! Oxfam shop.

Cancer UK say
Electricals (but please do check with your local shop before you donate these)
then
Unfortunately we are unable to sell:

* White goods such as fridges and washing machines
So I guess it depends on the resources local shops have for testing such appliances. It might also be worth contacting Social Services as in the past I've found them helpful in pointing me towards a local organisation that can take and make good use of unwanted, but basically sound, stuff.

I also know of two church based organisations within 3-4 miles that we've passed stuff to, there may be more.
