I did but didn't understand it as most LLU ISPs charge you extra for lower speeds when you are not in "their area".

It's not really surprising that IDNet can't supply LLU services. Xilo will be probably be able to, depending on which LLU CPs are present and what spare connection capacity they have.

This link should give you some advance notice if TT are planning to move into your exchange.

Take a look at this thread, mentions some more resellers, worth testing their online checkers, too. And then there is always the option of asking TalkTalk directly as to whether they have now LLU at your local exchange

Spoke to TT cancellation team, who admitted having no LLU and would reduce the additional cost if the exchange was due to be upgraded soon, then checked, with whom I don't know but came back with sorry no dates for upgrade of the exhange.
