I use Virgin media cable broadband and have Belkin router. Although the speed test is usually OK (5 - 7 Mbs) there are problems with the connection hanging - it just stops when navigating to a new webpage - message on Firefox "remote server is taking too long to respond". When I check the security log on the router there are lots of entries for SYN flood - a lot of them outbound. Is this related? Any suggestions please what I could try?
