i have been trying too connect my xbox too xbox live with my router with an yellow cable but it always says that my isp is blocking access. i have switched off the firewall. i have rang up plusnet tech support 5/7 times and got no were they say go too portforward.com which i have done put the port details into my netgear 2000 router but still not working. it was working fine with talktalk no probs at all wish i never lelf them now. plusnet tech support maybe in the uk but they are useless. there are also alot of people on the plusnet community form having the same prob and dont no where too go or do. thanks alex

They won't be in the least interested until you have been through the formal dispute procedure with Plusnet and received a deadlock letter from them.
This page explains Plusnet's complaints procedure, and note that OfCom will also expect you to have been through CICAS as mentioned on that page.

Did you not find out whether there were issues with Plusnet and the Xbox before you changed ISPs?

If there was a network reason for XBox live not signing in then I would expect a lot more posts both here and on Plusnet own forums.
It could be as simple as UPnP is disabled on the router, or for that model the XBox needs to be the DMZ host.

Of course they should and when they don't the first port of call is the regulator.
