On the plus side it's a reasonable 3x3 MIMO Gigabit router.

Now if only I could figure out how to load the stock firmware onto it rather than whatever they have on it... wink

Might do the same.

Before plugging it in I was getting responses.

Since plugging it in I'm being ignored constantly. I've sent email after email asking the same thing.

Might bin it or at least try and hack it & see if the wifi's any good. Any ideas how to start on hacking the thing? I managed to telnet to it once.

If you ever find out please tell me. I've been trying to figure this one out for a while.

Since upgrading to 80mbps I've noticed that some parts of the house - despite having one bar from full signal only get 20mbps via wifi. This I'm sure would help

You can get a telnet on 192.168.1.1 after turning the device on and then pressing the QSS button as soon as the SYS light starts to flash, let go as soon as it starts flashing fast and then telnet in.

remember to set your IP to 192.168.1.2 with subnet 255.255.255.0

=== IMPORTANT ============================
Use 'passwd' to set your login password
this will disable telnet and enable SSH

It's matching the Billion 7800N at the moment, will test it better tomorrow but it's a great wifi repeater for upstairs!
