Well, did it work? What NM did it get to? Would like some feedback.

Hi there

Am going to do it in the morning , as i have been told its best to re sync the router during daylight hours rather than dark, will post back as soon as i have done it, thank you for you time and effort.

here are my stats now

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7936 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 39.0 db 20.5 db
Noise Margin 5.1 db 21.0 db

i need another 32kbps to get the 7mb profile , , may be take it down by -7.5db? many thanks

hi thanks for the link

when i try and upload one of the files i get connection was reset , or webpage could not be displayed, i have tried IE, Chrome and FF, any help would be much appreciated , many thanks

Well that took it down by -6.8 dB. Close enough!

You could just gradually reduce N or try N = 65511 for -7.5 dB.
