Bonding 2 ADSL lines

What is considered as the most appropriate hardware to Bond 2 ADSL lines to have a better internet connection?

In which case usually needs isp support two Firebrick and sime draytek devices will do the job at your end

Seems to use two VPN to another device at ISP end.

They recommend Firebrick FB2700 and will host tunnel end points.

Bonding is the harder to achieve solution compared to load balancing and really needs your ISP to be on board.

Just curious since I am on FTTC and have no need to bond, but assuming two ADSL lines, how much lower than Speed 1 + Speed 2 would the bonded system be? I'm assuming that there must be some overhead?

Shareband recon it will be very little overhead.. they suggested around 5% max if I remember correctly when I was looking to bond two FTTC lines together.
They don't use the Firebrick though they use TP-Links.

However bonding is a solution of last resort as it significantly increases installation costs and on going rental charges. In my case it will be at least £230 installation costs and about £90 rental charges. And then I will only be getting an aggregated delivery of 6Mbps down on a good day.

Premises located 1.5km from cabinet #2 on the Lodsworth exchange which only has ADSL Max available. .

I had mentioned bonding two lines recently at a meeting and it's clear now that I was either misunderstood or the salesperson for a bespoke fibre system was hoping I would go away!
