Just plugged it in and nothing unfortunately, I don't think i'm connected to the interent yet at there end :/ it does say something about it taking to midnight to connect. guess i'll see then

Ive never needed a password, either left it blank or used "password" as the password.
I don't think they'll require one hopefully.

Just had a look at the saved config file from my Netgear DG834GT router. I can see the BB username & password in clear text, also the UI login name and password.

All in clear text.

I hadn't thought of that, but I was thinking of in the GUI.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync 57584/13846kbps @ 600m. - BQM

There's nothing in the gui that states the username and password but i'll see if i can save current configuration and inspect it.

It turns out that sse use a unique username and password for each customer, called them up again and finally got someone who knew what i was talking about but yes thought i'd let people know just incase they were wondering.
