Interested in reading your various comments.
Having a NON BT LANDLINE, in the event of a line fault who does one contact.
I presume one contacts the provider, who in turn contacts BT and so it goes on.
A guess on my part. I stand corrected and would very much like to be informed that there would be NO DIFFERENCE in time scale for action regarding the fault.
If that reassurance is given, then I would consider changing from BT.
Still fancy Jeremy though!!!!!!!!!!
