So in most cases All in One Cabinets are for EO Lines, but they can also be used for lines from other cabinets that are too far from them to get fibre.

Agreed, there is one round here that was installed as the distance from the original cab was too great to benefit many.

Only since their last update to their site, before it was always wrong for our area due to our postcode is shared over two cabinets.

An all-in-one cabinet can be installed if there is a large enough group of premises too far from their current "home" cabinet to get superfast speeds. It requires rearrangement of lines though, so I don't think it happens that frequently but there may be more of it as BDUK is extended into more difficult areas.

Found them to be spot on in my case.

Seeing perhaps ten per week that fit this theory, plus another 10-20 for exchange only line areas, many near exchanges but others further, i.e. depends on where the cluster to be served is.

That's most likely the case then.

I was hoping deep down it would benefit me in someway but don't see that happening soon. Who knows, they may move me to that cab and/if long reach vdsl ever becomes a thing we may eventually get better speeds.

The January ISP Forum announced that they were intending to do 2,800 extra cabinets - either to improve speeds for long lines or as extra capacity for in-demand cabinets. Those would be added from 2016 through to 2020/21.

To meet that plan, they'd need to do roughly 10 cabinets per week, so I guess we can expect to see that rate continue for a good while longer.
