Congrats to everyone who's heard so far.

My assessment was Oct 2016 in Exeter and I've been unemployed while waiting for this news. Got a temp job in retail to help pay the bills, but only 28 hrs at min wage

Keeping fingers crossed more of us will received the news we've been anxiously waiting for, for months either Monday or Tuesday.

I'm guessing its a mammoth task emailing and organising 2000 people!

A local lad who is an engineer confirmed what they said in the assessment centre.

£60 per day for accommodation regardless of what you pay. He stated for 2 weeks away and slept in a caravan park in a tent for £5 per night. For the two weeks he had 920 minus his pitch of 70. 850 profit just for accommodation for two weeks. Happened beginning of January.

In reply to a post by MAT723:
Im taking an 8k paycut. But i work a 52 hour week average. (50/55) with every other Saturday morning and hate it getting home at 6:30 every night.. The hourly rate works at 5p less. I think the paycut and 12month probation is to filter out those who dont give 100% in the first year. Ive taken the chance and accepted as to me happiness in a job is just as if not more, important for the long run to me. Its not bad money to start. Works out at 10.25 an hour if its a 37.5 hour week, then at 22933 it goes up to £11.70. I cant wait to start! Good luck all!

Oh make a great point about happiness too. I'm the happiest I've ever been in a job. I'm treated with respect by my manager, left alone to get on with things and since the changes a few months ago I'm not monitored as much. I love the job, but I hope to move on eventually within the company but that's purely for a monetary reason.

People have been mentioning overtime. I would still argue things are great on that front. I can work every Sunday if I want, and it pays well. You can't help but do evening overtime either. Anything over an hour past your finish time and the whole lot is converted to overtime. Or if your flex balance is at 6 hours anything extra at end of day is automatically overtime, even 25 minutes.

Hopefully all you lads waiting on an email get one today! I reckon they will be doing it not on location but on dates of assessment days?

I just had a phone call from recruitment there with a verbal job offer, they are working early today!

Got given my job location and then agreed a start date and told that the contract will follow in an email.

After all the waiting it seems to be moving quite fast now!
