Haven't read through it all just yet. She said first week in yarnfield for all the admin and getting lit/van for first week then Bolton for the rest. Makes no odds to me like both about an hour drive. Gunna sit and go through it all after work

Did you give her an email like mate ?? I haven't heard a thing. Great though if that's the plan it's not like the North East to be left till last HA

Congrafts to everyone who's heard today and got contracts. Finally the wait must be paying off !

I did mate, I'm impatient!! haha, yeah we're always left behind.

So have a lot of thinking to do over the next few days for sure, I can't say I'm not disappointed that the wage has dropped, but you have to look at the bigger picture.

Well done everyone, I think we all deserve a few beers for our patience!

Haha thank god for that ! Thought I might have been lost in the wormhole.

God today has been bad enough waiting to hear never mind having to wait potentially another 3 full days !!

I had a good chat with the Mrs about the salary after reading people's thoughts on here and I think we would be daft not to take it. Also spoke to a lad I know who's an Area Manager for OR and he backed up the ways to get a salary increase and overtime availability.

Definitely some well deserved beers coming up !! Amazed we haven't been reduced to alcoholics !

Yeah me too, my missus is 15 weeks pregnant and we're in the middle of selling our house, so we've got stacks going on. But all good.

Im just hoping I can definitely transfer my terms across from EE as was originally promised seen as they have changed things a bit.

I have my 10 year service from here now, its a canny bit of extra holidays and pension saved!

I don't envy you in the slightest then haha ! My Mrs gave birth the week before our assessment so we're all sorted now thank god ! Just gutted I'm going to be away for a few weeks during training already missing little things now being away 12 hours let alone 5 full days . Will be worth it in the long run I suppose. I work 60 hours a week now but only contracted to 45 and don't get paid a penny in overtime. Looking at losing about £5K in the first year but hopefully be able to make a bit back by doing an extra hour or two a day once allowed. Just keep looking at the bigger picture after the first year. Atleast you'll be settled into the job etc by the time the Mrs drops !
