All underground here, it goes about 30m up the drive to a BT post then underground again to a man hole cover in the pavement outside my neighbour's.

Oh OK, a small jointing post, note the tape, always prone to damp. It *should* be ducted UG cable or armoured UG to your property from here ... if it IS UG cable in here then there is a bodged joint under your driveway somewhere (measurable with a TDR where it'll see the change in conductor type from 0.9 to 0.5 gauge)

All in all it looks pretty grim. Even if it does pass a PQ test this is not fit for purpose.

Uno have told me there is an Openreach advisory on the line, seeing noise from 6.00am to 9.45am and even with the test socket still getting errors on the line even though the sync has reduced and interleaving is on.

Uno have told me there is an Openreach advisory on the line,

Did they offer any suggestion as to what exactly an 'Openreach advisory' was ? It's not a term I have come across in my line of work.

So they are saying time specific REIN ? That's gonna be a hard one to prove.

I reckon the low sync rate has nowt to do with the error count.
