Fibre Broadband

[link to this post]

Hey there!
I was just wondering if there is any ISP that would look into upgrading my lines, I know my speed isn't the worst it could be but it certainly doesn't do the job. I am a part-time streamer and of course, I have to use 3G to stream because the upload speed is not fast enough. Would there be an ISP who would look into upgrading the lines if I offered to pay an amount of money to help fund it. I am just trying to figure out what to do because streaming does rack up the bill pretty quickly on 3G. I wouldn't mind paying for a business line if it was FTTP but would prefer to pay in the margin of £60-£120 a month and the cost of installing separate!
Thanks! smile

Please can you see what this checker says for your telephone number? A screenshot would be best, uploaded somewhere and a link posted here.

Please make sure the line above the table is visible, but erase the number itself. We need the rest of the line and the whole of the table. The load of text under it we don't need but fine if some is there.

Depending which ISP you are with, that checker may not recognise your number. In which case use the Address option. Do not use the pure Postcode option.

As with the phone number, remove the address but keep the exchange and cabinet info.

It might help if you also say which ISP you are with.

Connection - AAISP Home::1 80/20. 200GB. Sync 73724/12601Kbps @ 600m. BQMs - IPv4 & IPv6

Dropped in the space of three minutes?

You didn't give us the exchange and cabinet line above the table. Without those we can't really see which ISPs you can use.

Has the original poster checked for the presence of fixed wireless in the area?

https://labs.thinkbroadband.com/local/postcode-search will highlight the majority of them

Another option is 4G and use a router
