Using own Router with NowTv

HI,

I'm hoping someone can possibly help me?
I'm with NowTv ADSL+2 have the Hub 2 but range is very poor.

Looking at buying the TP-LINK Archer VR400 WiFi Modem Router - AC 1200, Dual-band

Would this work with Nowtv broadband? I was told it's very hard to config a router due to no username or password on the Sky LLU network?

I would appreciate it someone could give me some advice on how to set this up so I can get rid of this hub2.

Why not just get a wireless range extender? Cheaper than a whole new router, and also means you don't have to faff around reconfiguring everything.

As it's ADSL2 and not FTTC then these details work on ADSL2+ setup:
Encapsulation: PPPoA
Username: [email protected]
Password: install
VPI: 0
VCI: 38
Multiplexing: VC-BASED
MTU: 1500
