Grey Openreach ducting

Hi, Does anyone know where I can get some openreach ducting & I would imagine a formed bend to repair the mess left by my house builder?
The ducting from street to house stops short of the wall plate.
I want to run it from A to B on the picture.

I had a really nice chap out from Openreach today trying to run a rope for my FTTP service but he couldn’t get his rods through. No wonder as the part from the duct to the plate was covered in set roughcast & there was zero chance he was getting through.

After he left I dug this out as I know the dig team is coming out to excavate the duct, It was in an awkward place so I done it for them.

Will anyone from openreach replace this missing part of ducting to allow for unrestricted access in the future or will they just back fill the hole? If so I would like to get it ducted just in case.

You can do it, but you won't be able to get the duct in place without disconnecting the cabling and pulling it through, and you shouldn't really be doing that yourself.

I would guess that Openreach can sort the ducting out for you now that you've done the digging, but I wouldn't expect the person who comes to install your fibre to have ducting parts with them. You may have to raise this back to your ISP to get an appointment sorted before the OR person comes back out. If you have a direct contact for the dig team then even better, just ask them.

get your house builder to do it if they didnt do it correctly in the first place

I manage to get a 90˚ duct bend from another extremely helpful OpenReach engineer & I had some 50mm UPVC pipe to extend & make up the difference in length.

Both the bend & pipe were slotted to accept the cable. No cables were harmed, cut , chopped or reconnected. 👍

The duct was then rod welded shut & taped over.
All in I am happy the duct is where it should be now.

I just need to wait for the connection to my new service.
