I have also had a drop in speed, not as much as PaDawg, when my SNR went from 5 to 6 due to power problems. I tred the have also had a drop in speed, not as much when my SNR went from 5 to 6 due to power problems. I tried the above (using 10) and it increased my SNR twice to 7 first time, redid it using 7 and 5 (using 20) and then got 8. Luckily I had thought to make a backup so went back to that but the sync speed is down a bit as a result. Not sure what I did wrong? In reply to a post by CrimsonOne:If you log into the Vigor 130, click on "Online Status and then Physical Connection and see what the SNR(m) values are. The odds are that they used to be around 3dB, but that the number has gone up. So once you have that figure take your current SNR and subtract 3 from it and multiply the result by 10. Now take that figure open Vigor 130 console and type vdsl snr -(the figure you calculated) the router will re-establish a connection, and see what your speeds are!
