who is the provider?

[link to this post]

Hi,

I'm moving house soon and checking the speed test results on the map. The best speed near me has a logo I don't recognise, its a S that starts purple at the top then blue to orange at the bottom (sorry I don't now how to attached a picture). Any idea's who that might be? I was guessing Sky but the speed its recording is more than Sky says they can offer if I can put that address in?

Thanks

Rather than relying on generic info on a map, your far better off using the more property specific Broadband Availability Checker from BT Wholesale, which will inform you what is possible to receive from an Openreach based service.

If you right click on the logo and open in a new tab you will see the filename of the image

If that is the map on the site where the house is listed don't trust it as they can be wildly inaccurate.

Thanks

Probably is. Sounds like one of theirs if not a few years ago.

The vagaries of FTTC make such comparisons quite pointless though….
