A sincere thank you

[link to this post]

I'd just like to say a huge and sincered thank you to everyone at IDNet for working so hard to sort out the BT foulup and actually get me migrated (yeah!!! ). Especial mention to Miriam for trying every trick in the book last night, Adam for kicking BT this morning and Simon, who sent me an email at 4:34 (does he ever sleep?).

Customer service like this I could get used to.

So, at last, I can say HELLO!!!!!

BT made it 'interesting' though! As an aside, my sync speeds are better with IDNet and may just pull me up 512k in BRAS profile. Toes crossed.

As I said to Rereg, I already am. Sync speeds have been higher since I moved, and if they hold, I may just get an extra 512k on my BRAS profile. Happy? I'm ecstatic.

"Sync speeds have been higher since I moved" - doesn't surprise me with Nildram at the moment, so it is entirely possible your BRAS profile may go up. I've noticed a slightly better noise margin since joining IDnet.

I just ran a speed test on dslzoneuk and managed to get a high 6.17Mb best speed at IDnet (so far) which at this time of day i'm very pleased with - I was getting in the 5's last night. I think if I were to run it at silly o'clock I could beat my speed I had with Nildram. HTTP on Nildram was getting to be like Chinese water torture.

IDnet speeds seem a lot more consistent though!
