and a welcome from me too.

I moved from Pipex close to 6 months ago and I have to say this ISP is superb. Stable and VERY good speeds, great support here plus terrific customer service from the company.

You won't regret the move.

I switched to IDNet about a year ago and have never for one moment regretted it. My speeds are at maximum 24/7 and the connection stability never wavers. IDNet just has to be the best ISP in the UK.

Welcome!

I couldn't make it up

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

Not too long after I posted last night's message my Netgear 'Internet' light went red. I had no broadband. I phoned BT Faults and the guy there said he couldn't test my line as 'it had no assets'. He then said he was emergency cover only but to call 150 after 7.30am this morning and tell them what he had told me. This I did and they didn't seem to have a clue. They tested the line and said there was 'no problem'.

I spoke to Andrew at IDnet at 8.15am, he tested the line and confirmed it was indeed a BT fault. Later in the morning he called me back to say that he'd had BT repair the fault and my broadband had been restored.

That really IS superb customer service.

I asked for my MAC from UKFSN/Entanet last night and signed up to IDNet today. Migration set for Tuesday 2 December.

Looking at my usage on Enta over the last 12 months indicates that I should be able to live within the quota and if I do go over it won't be by much or very often. Also Enta usage includes uploads and although I don't upload much it does contribute a bit to the usage.
