I returned home about 10.20 am to find that I did not have a PPP connection. Every time I tried to connect I got the �Authenication failed� message�. I phoned IDNet and left a message. Fifty minutes later, I have my Net connection back but no explanation of what might have gone wrong. I had a brief PPP problem last Saturday so it�s getting a tad worrying:

Not being the most techy around here but would this show up as the little pc symbol bottom right on my vista screen having a yellow warning triangle appear on it or even a red cross showing no connection ?

If that is how a PPP issue manifests then yes I have it as well and its driving me nuts and has been for a while, over a week now.

Router and PC run 24/7.
