Mine is also spiking much more heavily today.

I've lost count of who is on Zen and who is on BTw, but it strikes me if both Backhaul providers are affected than it might be something going awry in IDNet's core network. I am on BTw.

This issue is having no significant impact on our home network.

I would be totally oblivious to it if I didn't drop in here and use DSLStats to monitor my connection.

Perhaps Big Brother is watching!

Just had an email from Support saying that one of their suppliers has made some changes that might fix the issue. Time will tell.

I've got BQM set up for both IPV4 and IPV6 connections. No spikes on IPV4 since 14:00 but a couple of spikes since then on IPV6. Previously the two graphs pretty well mirrored each other.

I haven't seen a single red pixel on either graph since about the same time... far too soon to be sure, but it's showing promise

Has anyone here heard from idnet about the cause of the red devil spikes ?

I don't think so, and I doubt if we ever will.

I'm as curious as you but let's face it- if it's been fixed it's none of our business. If it was a Zen issue then it's also possible that IDNet aren't aware of the details because, strictly speaking, what Zen do is none of their business either

True but it be nice to know what got fixed or should i say what is still NOT fixed
