You could try VirtualBox from Sun

Parallels should do fine with those accounting packages. I use it with PersonalAccounts and the HMRC Employers CD, and it's fine. I won't use BootCamp to reboot into Windows on principle!

What was your problem with Parallels?

Main problem was it was generally slow and online problems sometimes reported limited or no connectivity, even when the mac was online ok, and i tried it on my main mac but that kept crashing out during the windows install process, thought it was a faulty xp disc but it installed ok on the mac book but still slow with problems downloading updates, new virus definitions, money downloads and tried some internet shopping on sites that only allow internet explorer. My credit card also needs windows.
