The up to date scheme costs £7.95 for UK users and $9.95 for US users. If it reflected the true exchange rate then it would cost £5.87, or £5.95 for the sake of making it look a nicer more Apple-friendly figure.
The Irish will be paying �8.95 to update their recently purchased new Macs under the scheme. Going by the exchange rate that should be �6.95.
