Start Automatically

[link to this post]

How do I make a program start automatically? I'm running MAMP, I know if I were to purchase it then it starts on startup, but I'm a cheapskate so only run the free version. There must be a way to get it to start automatically, same as there is a way to run virtual hosts by editing a few files...

Never used MAMP - but does it have a dock Icon? if so, can you just right click > Open at Login?

Yes it does - there's also a dashboard widget

Brilliant, that works cheers smile

Now next question, how do I stop the Mac from asking for a password whenever it starts the software? Same goes for installing software...
