If you have one main PC, configure that PC's mail client to not leave emails on the PlusNet server and configure the other PCs' mail clients to leave emails on the PlusNet server.
That way you can read emails on any PC when they 1st come in but store them all on the 1 main PC.

IMAP is a mail protocol where all the emails are stored on the server and deleted from there, so that you can see them consistently from anywhere. Depends on whether your ISP provides IMAP as well as POP3 email access.

I am a Plusnet user and GoogleMail user - I also have several email addresses and two computers that access email for me.
Basically all email is redirected to the Googlemail address.
Each computer has Thunderbird on it and obtains the mail from Googlemail. The mail is not deleted from the Googlemail server except on a periodic manual basis by accessing it via the browser.
Spam control is processed on Googlemail, minimal spam gets to my computers.
This set up has been working fine for about 18 months.
This is what I'm doing as well (outlook on 2 pc & thunderbird on a third) using google's imap settings everything sync's okay
True, my idea not intended for everyone to see all emails, but for you to see any email on whichever PC you are on when it first comes in and to go back to the main PC when you want to refer to it again.

Just adapt the concept slightly, as I do - tell ALL the computers to leave mail on the server for a period like a week. Then as long as all computers get to the mail server within that period, you can be confident of getting a copy on all of them; but the mails do get deleted in a reasonable period to avoid building a massive backlog or large storage cost.
