The Store Is Down

Which product do they normally update at this time of year? I only went to the site to check the price of a pair of headphones

Coincidentally I have my 1:1 Aperture appointment tomorrow lunch time so will see whether they have loaded Aperture 3 yet smile if so I will report back but from what I have read already I may be coming back with a purchase. Thinks I will take my rucksack so it isn't obvious I have been spending wink

Further to my note last evening I had a demonstration and play with Aperture 3 today at the Apple store at my pre-booked 1:1 - it is brilliant and I have come home with my upgrade box which I am about to load. Very happy laugh

Had a play, I'm not too impressed to be honest. Also been playing with the Lightroom 3 Beta, which I find to be much easier to use and more flexible.

Not used Lightroom so cannot give you a comparison but from the hour's session I had today I am impressed and a great improvement on Aperture 2. But once it is loaded and I have used it for a few days will give a more objective appraisal. smile

Each to their own.

Having used Aperture 1.5 through 2.1, I finally dumped it for CaptureOne Pro. I found Aperture to be extremely slow and not flexible at all. After reading the features in Aperture 3.0, I am not at all overly impressed.
