DVDs to Touch

[link to this post]

Could anyone please advise on best way to get my ripped, by way of Mac the Ripper, DVDs onto my Touch 3g?
They are on my PB 10.4.11.
Have tried iSquint (now obsolete) and Handbrake without success.

To use HandBrake to strip commercial DVDs of their copy protection. HandBrake can do this only if VLC is also installed on your Mac, and also convert the resulting videos to other formatsones compatible with iPod/ iPhone.

Thank you all for advice - used Titanium Toast in the end - which converted DVDs then put them straight into iTunes - from there to the Touch without problem - apart from the hours it took to get six and a half hours of video from ripped files to iTunes and then onto the Touch - left a couple to convert overnight.
Thanks again.
