iOS Mail Oddity

I have my mail set to "Push" and have got notifications when the mail comes in as one would expect.

The past few days however, I only get mail delivered when I go into the app, it refreshes and bam my mails appear, some from hours ago.

This is happening with iCloud mail, GMail and Yahoo mail.

Still set to Push.

iOS9 here and had no problems up til a few days ago.

It is probably because your battery is low and the phone is set on power save mode which is new in ios9.

Nope, never been the case, battery never goes below 50 and phone has never been in power save mode.

Slightly off topic, but I notice my battery definately drains quicker on iOS9 - i can usualy finish with with over 50% left yesterday I was gettin 20% warning on bus at 6pm.

Yep, ios9, even with the recent 9.0.1, is rubbish.

Amongst all the known issues, they appear to have added more, rather than deal with the existing.

Finding no issues here. Wife found one on her iPhone in messages but a simple quit and relaunch of the app fixed that. It is certainly not rubbish.

Working fine for me as well. Battery life is much the same as before the update.

I found for the first day after installing iOS9 that the battery got hammered, but once whatever it was doing (spotlight at a guess) was done it is now at least as good and (thanks to low power mode) better than before.
