You may find you get a better signal by putting your dongle by a window and connecting it to your computer using a USB extension cable.

Some dongles allow the use of a separate aerial. You can find the aerials on ebay.

Check ofcom on usage of this type of product you may land yourself with a very hefty fine and risk a stay at hmp.

They are totally illegal to use in the uk. (but not illegal to sell)

This seems a good idea and wireless so good for smartphones or tablet PC, ok you have one machine and not sure if that is a desktop but could wireless enable that with a card that will go into the thing and a small arial,

Spam removed and it should be pointed out mobile signal amplifiers are not allowed in the UK.

I am currently using Vodafone dongle and I noticed I need to top up it every day even if I am using only for emails and business. Does anybody know any dongles which I can use with better deals?

How much data are you using in the first place each day

it is about 3 GB a day I think

Take a look at the 4G Home stuff from EE, there is a £75/m 100GB package on there then.

Otherwise most dongle packages max out at around 20-30GB per month
