I forgot to check last time what the speed/signal is like next to cell site. Well tonight I did when passing (around 1 hour ago) and I got an RSRP of -72db & 100% signal, however for some reason speeds where worse (only around flucatating from 7-16mb). Back home now and speed has taken a dip to around 20mb here so might be congestion. Still, that'll do me for £18.75 a month until i move.

That upload is quite [censored] for the RSRP compared to mine. At -96db I get 34mbps upload but 14mbps download. (-80db I get 70-80down, 36up)

Now it's been running a couple of days I have monitored at different times and am seeing upload speed up to 35mb and actually it seems to far more stable than the download. Upload doesn't seem to be dropping below 25mb apart from for a few seconds here and there.

However, I am certainly noticing drop outs when the WiFi doesn't seem to work and you get the 'no connection'. This only seems to happen for a couple of seconds but very annoying when the wheel of death appears. The Mrs is not impressed that Love Island wouldn't work tonight without doughnutting. Oddly when I test the speed when she's moaning it still showing 20mb+ so not sure if it's the Netgar Aircard that's rubbish.

I do see this type of thing though at work on my O2 hotspot so maybe it's LTE that has micro pauses.

Somehow my signal has increased to 100% with RSRP of -84db.

Unfortunately it looks like weekends are congested here as DL speed is between 5-12mb and upload around 15mb even with this decent signal strength. Looks like my test in January might have been representational of what this cell site can deliver at peak times .
