Plusnet on EE network are much better than Smarty (3) and Voxi (vodafone)

Smarty: 38/25
Voxi: 30/22
Plusnet:54/26

That may be true where you are but may not be true for others - signal strength depends on where you are in relation to the masts of the different providers. With mobile your experience may be very different to someone just a few hundred metres away from you and people have to test their own local circumstances rather than relying on someone else's speed test.

And the radio capacity each provider owners, and then chooses to deploy to the local masts.

And lucky that nothing in the walls of the home is reducing the signal, as happens in a lot of new builds.

As others have said, different networks are better in different locations. EE are best where I live, however, I wouldn't rate Plusnet as ideal for 4G data as they don't offer large data allowances (12GB a month isn't much, and would last me less than 2 days).

I tether my laptop and stream etc and I don't go through 5GB in a month...

You can use 5GB in an hour just using Netflix or Youtube in 4K. When I was using 4G for my main connection my lowest usage was 550GB per month (18.3GB per day).

I use 4G as my home broadband - and I work from home. I often need to download individual files that are up to 7GB each.
