I agree entirely... they also snag if you try to remove cables through a bunch of others, and present sharp edges when working near them.

but will get the job done quickly and easily;- as would labels from labelling machines.

I try to use colour coded cables where practical

In theory, if you have planned your network properly from the ground up, and allowed for contingencies and expansions, you shouldn't ever need to know where they go. smile

Thanks... I have ordered some from silfox. I still think I will go with the aussie ones mentioned in my post at some later date.
