A lot of recommendations are for Enta resellers. They only have a 1 month contract, but it all depends on what your requirements are.

The Entanet resellers (e.g. ADSL24, UKFSN, etc.) and NewNet, IDNet, Zen is a decent shortlist of the quality ISPs (non-LLU).

I haven't heard anything bad about any of the Entanet re-sellers (at least nothing relevant to the broadband service they provide).

You won't be sorry with ADSL24 they are great, i myself moved from HV to them.

I'm leaving them next week for UK Online LLU just to save me waiting a year on a speed increase and its a fiver cheaper LOL

No particular wording that works with them... Constant daily pestering worked for me!

I was even given 2 different MAC codes... one turned up over 2 weeks after I migrated!!!

They tend sit on them for a while to scrape that little extra bit of cash out of you.

Your best bet is to copy any e-mails to Anthony (that's what I had to do to get mine when I left) as he is probably the most reliable person left at Hi-V. I waited 2 weeks and then copied my next mail to Ant and had a working MAC Code within about an hour.

The more people that complain to OFCOM the better.

MAC Update

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

Seems that all the Email accounts @ Hi-Velocity must be faulty
No Response from Cancellations Or Sales
So i Rang them a few Days ago in the Afternoon

No Matter what option i chose the call just rang then timed out
Called again today and Shock horrer someone answered the phone
I asked about my MAC Code and why i had not received it
I explained the Tariff i was on and asked if they had any new Tariffs similar to the one i am " Trying " to migrate to
The Answer was less than helpfull

I will ring you back this afternoon alright ?

Surprise Surprise No Calls
