Hi-Velocity MAC Code

[link to this post]

Requested my MAC code from Hi-Velocity on Friday last week
till now i have not heard a thing from them

Sent the Request to Cancellations as per their Web site
also asked Accounts for confirmation they had received my Request

I dont expect much in life but i would have expected to hear something by now

Is this standard for Hi-Velociity ?

Seems to be, well it was when I was with them and it doesn't seem to have changed much since then

They did the same to me when i left. Only time i had issues with them.

I called on the 5th working day and the idot i spoke said "no we dont have to give you a MAC code within 5 days we just have to adknowledge the request" So i read them the right act and failed a complaint with offcom and emailed Anthony. MAC code arived within the hour.

It's a requirement of Ofcom general condition 22 for over a year now.

See http://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/2973-compulsory-migration-process-for-dsl-providers-from-14th-february.html
