Hi,
Has anyone's ADSL24 Murphx account started breaking down off-peak vs peak? Their customer services appear to think my usage is all inclusive, when clearly in the session logs the majority of it is off-peak!
Apparently they're getting a fix in according to their forums, but there's nothing been communicated, which is making tracking usage a little tricky.
Thanks

Why not post in the thread on their forums and ask for an update or send a ticket? James has said that people won't get charged for going over the peak usage (as long as it's not overly excessive)

They certainly have, so all is sorted. Nice gesture that, just gotta hope they can sustain a reasonable quality of service now.

The Home packages should be fixed as of yesterday. Murphx kindly zeroed everyones usage for this month due to the usage feeds not working correctly. The office packages are still counting offpeak but again this will be fixed/zeroed also.
Going forward the figures shown on your my account page will be for peak usage, i.e. what you have a cap on. Off-peak is not counted nor shown as it's irrelevent from a peak usage point of view.

I don't think that's right James, my stats were zero'd yesterday and all I did before midnight last night was a bit of surfing, I downloaded something after midnight (off peak) my usage is now showing at over 3gig, so my off peak is included in that figure

Definately not working James I checked my usage before midnight and again this morning and it's recorded all my off peak

RE: Peak gigabytes only, thats fine, I can live with that.
I'm on an office package which is possibly why I still have the combined showing. I'll just wait to see what happens and keep an eye on peak time downloads. Otherwise solid service.

Yep, the murphx radius and deployment team are in late tonight to resolve finally

All seems to be in order once again for office packages.

Ditto (office usage), though I'll be keeping an eye on it for now!

This is happening again on the Murphx Home 30 product this weekend since Saturday. The off-peak data usage is being counted as peak usage. There were definetly problems at ADSL24 from the 1st March as they had a wall garden routing problem that wasn't sorted until 7pm on the 2nd. Then on the 3rd from midnight the off-peak usage problem started to happen.

|
|
I've checked the system and there are only 3 accounts that are showing usage during the weekend, so it is possible one of them is yours? PM me your number or username and I shall sort it

Something weird has just happened with my usage stats in the last 30 minutes, it's saying I have downloaded 4.372GB which I know I haven't. I had only downloaded about 1.7GB a short while ago.
All data is reported in GB (gigabytes) and is updated every 30 minutes.
NOTE: If you are on a capped package, the figures below indicate PEAK usage only. Off-peak is free usage and thus not included in the below figures.
If you go over your normal monthly allowance you will either need to purchase a top-up or wait until the 1st of next month when the usage will reset to zero.

My connection wont even allow me to download that much

Clearly shows i have only downloaded 1.25 GB since the 1st. So why is my allowance saying 8gb?

I've been seeing this sort of thing for months.
2GB+ in an hour which is physically impossible with a manually limited line sync of 6.6Mbps.
What passes for tech support these days simply keep insisting that the data is correct.
Frankly, I've given up contacting them for anything except a complete loss of connectivity. Even then it's a through going pain in the posterior. On the last occasion I was asked to do a factory reset on my router!
