Very well explained mate.
Yes my vm ip address hasn't changed in years as i notice it on my enigma2 box. So Grain share ip addresses. Thats not good. Ill ask them how much to buy a static ip address would be and if they offer that service. I'd be better off buying a static ip address would you say.

Yes mate price and performance better from Grain then wink
£29.99 1gb up and down speeds yiu can't beat that.
Just need to find a bit more about the IP address share thing they do. I want to buy a static or dynamic IP address off them if I can. That would be ideal.

Static or dynamic?

Connections: OnePlus 8 Pro on Three 4+ (LTE)/5G and at home Three Mobile, with (Three)ZTE MF286D router giving about 113/20Mbps.

Static but apparently on business plans only, not the resi plans. Perhaps they’ve changed terms or made an exception. Or indeed OP is referring to a business plan:

I'm going for residential plan so yes, they must have changed their policy and anyway not like it's free they want £5 a month for it.

Hey guys I'm back. I stayed with VM in the end. It has now come to my renewal date again. Their prices are ridiculous now, no care for loyal customers. I am now seriously looking at alternatives providers.
Grain offering good deals with static ip address. They have been around for a while now. Good reviews on trust pilot aswell. Has anyone moved from VM to Grain who can give true review and the difference between the two? My house a good size so want to turn off the wifi on router and use my Access Points which I have hardwired the router. Shouldn't be a problem with Grain should it?
VM are a B@ll ache but their BB is solid never goes down, that's what I dont want if I jump to Grain. Need it for work.
Also, anyone have any issues with Grain blocking any sites or severs? Thanks
