Grain said i could connect my AP to their router also they use a Icotera i6855. These any good? But i dont understand when you guys say they use FTTP etc or that might need to buy static IP address. Can you turnoff wireless on Grain routers?

I had a quick look at the FAQ's and they can supply their Router in "Bridge Mode" so you can use your own Router. A bit like VM's modem mode I guess.
As for VM, yes my service is very good and usually is, but I've never had to call them for problems. Going on the Forums, it looks like VM CS has seriously gone down hill very fast. The biggest complaint now seems to be an impenetrable wall of AI bots when calling up for assistance. I believe they recently came bottom of a Which report.
