Creating / managing e-mail addresses ?

[link to this post]

I think I know this though cant recall.

I have in effect two domains:

www. username.plus.com
www. mydomain.co.uk

How do I create/manage e-mail addresses for my domain, i.e. me@ mydomain.co.uk?

Member Centre > E-mail Settings > Manage my Mail enables me to set up e-mail addresses using my username i.e. me@ username.plus.com though I can't see how to configure mydomain related e-mail?

Any ideas?

They use the same addresses, you can't specifically set up seperate mailboxes for your domain. So if you have a mailbox of [email protected], that will also work for [email protected]

Hope that explains it.

Hi Thanks,

So to be clear if I have an address set up for "fred @username.plus.com" then e-mails sent to "fred @domain.com" will automatically be received within the same mailbox?

Therefore if an Outlook account is configured to send/receive "fred @username.plus.com" mail then will it also receive "fred @domain.com" mail or does a seperate account need to be configured in Outlook?

It seems that a seperate account needs to be configured in Outlook to have "fred @domain.com" as the sending address?

Many thanks.

Yep, that's correct.

Indeed it will.

You can set the 'reply' address in Outlook to either your domain.com address or username.plus.com depending on which you prefer.

Many thanks though it is not working.

Mail sent to "fred @domain.com" mail is not received by "fred @username.plus.com".

I have tried setting up a seperate account for "fred @domain.com" in Outlook, that enables me to send from "fred @domain.com", the addressee receives this OK though when they reply the reply is not received by either fred @username.plus.com" account or the "fred @domain.com" account.

Any ideas?

Many thanks.
