Hmm.. Think plusnet need to look the accuracy of this page Call Waiting times
I've given up queuing for Metronet support at the moment, after getting a recorded message saying waiting times are in excess of 10 minutes, yet that page says longest waiting time is 7 minutes 14 seconds.
Ah well , time to add to my ticket, then wait 24 hours for an update..

Hiya,
According to our wall boards, the longest wait so far today has been 8m04.
If you'd like to PM me with your username and a brief description of what you're looking to find out, I'll happily do what ever I can to help.

You may want to update the recorded message on the metronet support line then - that definitely says over 10 minutes.
I logged a fault Thursday morning regarding dropped connections and had an update from PN support Friday night. Just wanted to update them and hopefully prod it into a slightly more rapid response...
Just out of interest, has anyone encountered stability issues since their exchange has been 21CN'ed? The line with issues used to have uptimes in excess of 30 days, but since BT updated the exchange at end of May, the circuit is lucky to manage 20 hours.. I

Thanks - That's a manually added message that the CSC Management Team add when the call queues ramp up.
Can you PM me your username and I'll give it a prod for you.

Thanks - That's a manually added message that the CSC Management Team add when the call queues ramp up. Therefore the opening post is correct - the web site is inaccurate and needs updating from 7mins ... to "over 10 minutes".

I don't think it was the website that was inaccurate...

Sorry, I hadn't clicked on the OP's link, and assumed it was a general web page statement, not a real-time report.

Argh!
Metronet phone line says 'in excess of 15 minute delays'.. website says '4 minutes and 19 seconds'..
Suggestions please. Do I ;-
1. Queue for 15 minutes.
2. Update the ticket.
3 PM James.
To pass on the polite message that I've already carried out the troubleshooting steps they've requested (and the ticket even says that I already have...)
I'm thinking the next time I phone will be to request a MAC and move to Be.

I had a problem with line stability after the upgrade and asked the question in the MAAF forums here. James advised it my be beneficial for me to get a 2 wire 2700hgv router for long lines. It did increase the synch but not stability, sometimesgoing from a 3100kbps sych to as low as 800kbps! Fault was logged and support say BT have re- jigged my line to act line a fixed 2 meg connection. Personally I think I have been moved from MAX, but that's another story. Suffice to say my line has been synched at 2272kbps for the last 5 days now.

Have a browse of the Entanet forum.
WBC seems to be very unstable. In the early days Enta systems and backhaul were dodgy but that is largely cleared.

Something strange going on with the queues again.
Message on the phone line saying call wait times are in excess of 10 minutes.again.
PN website says longest wait is 6mins 14 seconds , with average answer time of 50 seconds.
I've been in the queue for 7 minutes, yet the website says longest is 6....

I believe the queuing times are updated once a minute.
I'll ask the CSC to get the message removed. They must have had a brace of calls and they haven't removed the message yet.
