Your probably right RogN, If IW had put all the things right from his last conversation with soundsystem there wouldn't be a need for a new question time.

It does indeed smack of plusnet manipulation.

Hi Buggz

Think the first question i should ask, is

Am i been used?

Personnally i don't think I am. You know as well as I do Plusnet do read this particular forum, and if we can get it all out in the open once and for all, I can say i tried.

As for the manipulation etc, IW told me stuff that i never ever repeated on here, and that news surfaced out anyway. So if the plan was to use me to send their message across, it failed on that part alone. However i tend to think that I am a good judge of character, and i genuinely believed what he told me.

I don't have to do this, i don't have to justify my actions, i am very busy anyway with a certain other ISP, however i feel like Plusnet were a friend initially. After all i was with them for a long time.

There is nothing more I would like to see, than Plusnet reps back on here to get involved and be pro-active. Only time will tell if that will happen.

I know the owners of ADSLG have made it abundantly clear that they would be welcome back.

Don't you think it more likely that they will come back if we have no feedback on issues and they have to sit painfully back and just watch their ISP being shelled with no response, than to be able to answer thro you without having to put their heads over the trenches?

Mate, you don't have to feel the need to justify anything to me, I know you're doing your best to help folks out.

I think the biggest question of all you should be asking him is "when are staff going to be back on ADSLguide helping customers?"

Its obvious that the ticket system for aid is currently at bursting point, so why not have a handful of reps here "specifically to help customers" for now, and not getting involved in "anything" else?

Then after an initial period of time, if/when ticket volumes drop then slowly allow the reps more lea-way to respond to general questions and issues. But if staff are to come back they need to be told they are ambassadors for the company and as such need to behave that way when critisism and irate customers vent they're spleen.

If Plusnet reps are to return to ADSL guide then all the spin from cs we've seen on here in the past must be put in a box and burried in the ground. All staff MUST be on the same page and no one customer can be treated differently to another, rules and procedures must be followed and adheared too.

If PN reps return with the same attitude they did prior to leaving ( I mean unable to treat critisism as directed at they're employer, take it personal and be unproffessional) I personally think they'd be better off not coming back to ADSLguide.

Sometimes you need to follow your head and not your heart...

You're not basing the decison on what is happening now but has what happened in the past.

If you really do have a lot of time on your hands hen perhaps you can help the F2S people because PIPEX have started implementing LLU rollout *WITHOUT* any possibility of an opt-out.

Exactly.

To use the argument that IW cannot come here because of PN policy is totally false. IF Soundsystem was not acting as his mouthpiece, and it was important to communicate with customers and prospective customers, then IW should act like the manager he is supposed to be. That means getting the policy changed at PN and getting on here and do his own work.

Sorry Ged you are being well and truly used and actually delaying PN coming back to these boards.

All of the questions that are asked are going to be distributed to CSC, PUG and here, via me.

This has to be beneficial to all involved, Guys if you wanna put me down or tell me I am been used, thats fine, its water off a ducks back to me.

How about we ask serious questions that the people on here moan about and lets get some serious answers. If you don't ask, then you really are missing your chance.

AFAIK Plusnet will be making a database of questions and answers for use on the protal, PUG, Plusnetters etc. This has to benefit their present and future customers.
