speedtest.net

Why does speedtest.net suggest the best server to use is based in Ireland?

And, when London (where I live) is selected, it reports the distance as 200miles away.

One set of results here.

Is this due to PN servers location?

Dunno. It looks oriented towards providing spurious information in the absence of anything tangible. Miles are largely irrelevant, it is the number of hops which matters, since the most part of any delays will occur within routing nodes - particularly any variations. And 'best server' - best for what?
