If you can't win or deal with facts any more just try blustering, spin or some more smoke and mirrors. Well at least we know that PN are good at that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Or perhaps a bit of that and maybe has some actual customers to deal with and does not have time for a game of semantic tennis.

I'm sorry! Can you show me where there is a question of semantics?

You will also notice that no one asked James the question, my statement was made in response to Jelv but James decided to answer it on his own volition.

So ISP reps are not allowed to correct any factual errors they see in their own forums.

Looks to me like some people are making strenuous efforts to drive the Plusnet reps away again. I hope the moderators recognise what is going on and nip it in the bud.

This isn't their forum, it's a TB forum about PlusNet.

Excuse me, Jelv, but it seems clear you are trying to suggest things to the mods without any basis of facts.

The question I asked you was whether PN had changed their mind about needing extra capacity as not being the solution to the BB+ problems. James voluntarily replied to my question that no such statements were made. He didn't suggest they were made in error. The flat denial was that no such statements were made. Period.

If factual errors had been admitted it would be a different story. It looks to me that some people still want to blame others for the actions of PN and excuse them.

That's right, it is.

Got anything against the reps posting in it?

Nope

But what you clearly failed to understand, it is NOT Plusnets forum.
It's a forum ABOUT Plusnet.

Hopefully that's made it clear to you.

So we also agree that's it is not a forum for any one group of like minded individuals to have their views upheld? Good.

Let us not over cook this guys and gals.

I tend to think that James was ill advised to make any comments of a personal nature, ....but that goes for anyone posting on the BBS, it raises the temperature and diverts the thread.

It is issues that need to be concentrated on not personalities, so if there are any issues regarding "requesting a MAC" left in this thread go to it, but otherwise best leave it alone I suggest.
