cease fee?

I have looked at my account on the portal and it shows as a £20 cessation fee a being Activated.

But I have not ceased, i have migrated in around 1 month again, can anyone from plus next explain this?

It doesn't mean you're about to be charged that sum.

Basically it a fee that we are charged by BT Wholesale if a full cancellation of a broadband service is required (ie: you're not migrating to a different supplier).

We pass this charge onto our customers if it is required.

It shows as Activated on my account though, but I am not leaving.
Can you take a look please and see if I have missed something?

Because it's a deferred contract - not a charge.

As per my PM, you're not being charge, it's just part of the account activation process.

It wasn't charged to me until I left Plusnet. My new house didn,t have a BT connection,so I had to do a cessation.
