How long?

[link to this post]

How long does it take to resolve or reply to a ticket relating to connection problems following the completion of the Broadband Fault Checker quiz?

As long as takes someone to see your post on here?

It would probably help if you posted the ticket number.

@oleo, it's difficult to say as it depends on the nature of the fault. The first thing that happens is for some automated tests to be run, that tends to happen within the first 24 hours. Once the tests have been run your ticket drops out into another ticket pool for a human being to take a look at. As mentioned the turnaround time from there depends on what sort of fault you're reporting as some of the pools are busier than the others.

I know our faults team are extremely busy at the moment so you may be looking at 24-48 hours but if you post the ticket reference here then one of us should be able to speed things along.

Sorry to hear you're having problems by the way frown

Bob, thanks.

Just as you posted I replied to the post by jelv with the ticket number, here it is again, ID: 30368509 .

My concern is, (apart from the difficulties that I have) is that the procedure asks for the router firewall to be set to off. I'm not that keen to run the router for too long in that condition, although I do have AV and firewall o the computer.

Bob,

Right bag of laughs this morning. Still no update or apparent action on the fault and ppp keeps dropping even more. Tried the free dial up number, doesn't work. Tried rebooting the router (stupid I know) and the only effect that has was to drop the sync speed. Taken over a hour to post this.
