RTO - Again and Again

After posting on the subject some while ago I still cannot get a completed tracert to anywhere! Could somebody from PN explain the extent to which this is a problem. Pings also time out too.

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting?

You will most likely connect to a different gateway.

Checked your firewall and router settings ?

Not sure why i am on the homesurf gateway but it works soo

They've shifted a lot of people on to a different vLAN as part of the resolution of the speed problems - that's why you will be seeing homesurf.

If I can actually access a page, albeit slowly, I do not know what difference a router/firewall setting would make.

Try this - it may (or may not) help.

The last reported hop should be your router.

I'm reasonably sure that in the past, someone used this test to diagnose an issue with their router.
The symptom was that the last hop was never reported.
