Microsoft Security Essentials

[link to this post]

I just got a new pc today, has windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

it also has something called microsoft security essentials, now, I was told that with this installed and running, that I wouldnt need any other security software, I find myself feeling a little doubtful about that, anyone know if this is true, or a total load of rubbish?

Not sure about the firewall aspect I use the free Zone Alarm with XP, but been using the MSE for a few months and it seems to do the job.

Reviews give it a decent rating and whilst it took a long time I think MS are now getting up to speed.

It does have the essential KISS element...keep it simple stupid.smile
