Sky usage

Hi all,
since sky introduced their 'usage tool', my usage has gone up and up to a pont we are supposedly using 1gb a day. With my last ISP we were coming in under 8gb a month easy. The only thing changed in our usage pattern is the kids use spotify (which they turn off when not using). No viruses and little p2p going on (except spotify).
Anyone else having same issues?
