Problems Migrating,letter from sky

Hi, been using newnet until recently and since price increase i thought i would take advantage of the sky deal. �5 per month for existing sky customers cant be bad!

Anyway got MAC from newnet and gave it so sky last monday. Had letter on saturday saying all was going through ok and would recieve my router soon.

Had another letter this morning saying the sky order cannot be complete becasue i have an incompatible product on my line. This could be my current provider is LLU or i have an alarm system or isdn.

Phoned newnet and i am not LLU, dont have isdn or an alarm system over the phone.

Contacted sky again and had to start the order process again. I am worried that it will go another 6 days only to be told the same!

Anybody had the same issue and if so did it get resolved?

i had exactly same letter from them saying i had an incompatible product ie home call or some alarm thing so i rang them up and they said to ignore it,a few days later my line went live and alls been fine since,imo i dont think sky has got a clue whats its doing regarding the ordering process..good luck anyway.

So i done the order again and have now migrated to sky yesterday, just waiting for the router to turn up now. Have been told it may be up to a week. Wishing i didnt bother going with sky now!

i dont think sky have a clue wats goin on with their current migration process...stick with it it may just be worth it...
